SS Kyle Queen ONo 135527

SS Kyle Queen was built in 1913 by R Williamson and Son, Workington for the Volana Shipping Company Ltd. as Volana. She was sold to Coast Lines in 1920 and renamed Cornish Coast and then bought by Monroe Brothers Ltd, Liverpool in 1935 and renamed Kyle Queen.

My late father was First Mate in her in 1941. On 20 October 1941 while on passage from Workington to Cork, she was attacked by an aircraft (presumably German!) and according to her voyage record card spent 14 days in Cork and almost six weeks under repair in Barry. A copy is attached.

This is all the information that I have but would like to find out more so if anyone can please point me in the right direction as to where I go next, I would be very grateful.
