H.M.S. Thetis was a T-class submarine, built at Cammell Laird between 1936 and 1938. Tragically she sank, whilst on sea trials on the 1st June 1938, with the loss of 99 lives. This talk looks at the many different factors that led to her loss. Subsequently raised and renamed H.M.S.Thunderbolt she was lost with all hands on the 14 March 1943.
