LIVERPOOL NAUTICAL RESEARCH SOCIETY

The Liverpool Nautical Research Society, founded in 1938, promotes interest in Maritime History, maintaining a close

link with the Merseyside Maritime Museum.

Many Members pursue research for themselves, the Society or the Merseyside Maritime Museum.

All Members receive the quarterly ‘Bulletin’ in which many articles and papers of significance

by Members and others are published.

Meetings are held monthly between September and May at 1.00 p.m. (coffee from 12.30 p.m.) at the
Athenaeum Club, 18 Church Alley, Liverpool, L1 3DD
when talks by Members or specialist speakers are given.

Members of the Society utilise the Archives and Library at the Merseyside Maritime Museum on Mondays

- one of the two days when it is now open
